Payment and fees

Fees and structure
Tournament fees are:

  • Team fee
  • Player/Guest fee
  • Accommodation & Food option fee

The payments that need to be done according to WUCC2010 timetable are:

  • Down payment of USD 500 to WFDF = your spot is reserved
  • Team fee payment to WUCC COC (Czech Organizing Committee) = your spot at WUCC 2010 is secured
  • Payment of Accommodation&Food option fees to WUCC COC
  • Payment of Player fees to WUCC COC

Team fee EUR 1.650 (meaning sum of EUR 1.300 to be paid to WUCC COC and deposit of USD 500 = EUR 350 paid to WFDF) – This fee applies to all teams entering WUCC 2010 and contains payments for all items provided for the whole team like fields, ceremonies, events etc. Down payment to WFDF is also part of the Team fee and will be deducted if already paid to WFDF. Then the team fee to be paid to WUCC COC bank account is EUR 1.300.

Player fee EUR 130 - This fee applies to all players of WUCC2010 and includes all player related costs like transportation between your hotel, social and evening activities, player's pack, WFDF participation fee (USD 30), player's book, newsletters, medical support etc. It does not include accommodation and food options.

Guest fee EUR 80
- This fee applies to all visitors and non-playing coaches or non-playing captains and children aged 12 years and more (hereafter as “guests”) of WUCC2010. Fixed guest fee includes transportation between your hotel, playing areas and evening activities, both playing areas and evening activities, free access to evening activities, player's pack, id card, newspapers etc. It does not include accommodation and food options.

Guest fee EUR 40 – Children guest fee
– This fee applies to all children aged 3 to 11 years. This fee includes transportation, player´s pack, ID card. Children are allowed to come to social and evening activities for free. It does not include accommodation and food options.

Accommodation & Food option (A&F option) – every player and guest can choose his A&F option (breakfast and dinner included). You can book regular stay of 7 nights (check-in July 3rd Saturday, check-out July 10th Saturday morning) and also book additional 8th night for Saturday night on July 10. Children

Children under 3 years are for free if no bed is required.

Children aged 3 to 11 years will be charged 50% of the price for adults. These children need to stay in the same room as their parents at an extra bed.

Children aged 12 years and more will be charged full amount.

*10% discount applies only to payments credited to WUCC COC bank account till April 30, 2010 – this discount applies to children as well

For more information please see Guests section. We kindly ask you to register all children aged 3 and more years into the registration system For children under 3 years of age please mention them only in the note while registering a player or a guest they are accompanying.

Financial responsibility

Teams entering WFDF World Ultimate Club Championship 2010 must keep to the payment schedules provided by the WUCC COC below and outlined in the Registration Timetable in the Registration section. The WUCC COC will collect three types of fees in two rounds:

Team Fee
The Team fee shall be EUR 1.650 of which EUR 350 shall be the WFDF deposit (EUR equivalent of non-refundable down payment of USD 500 to WFDF). The remainder of the Team Fee amounting to EUR 1.300 shall be paid by the deadline set out in the Registration Timetable no later than February 28, 2010 for the teams registered in the First round of registration (see Bid Allocation). The Team fee guarantees that the team is included in the tournament format.

The Team fee applies to all teams entering WUCC 2010 and consist of all the items provided for the whole team like fields, ceremonies, events etc.

Teams that do not comply with the Team fee deadline provided by the WUCC COC risk losing the opportunity to compete in the tournament. The WUCC COC has the right to penalize any late payments at a rate of up to 20% of the initial fee for each month or part of a month that a team is late with the payment of their tournament deposit. Tournament entry closes February 28, 2010. At this point the WUCC COC or WFDF may decline to accept new teams into the tournament.

A team withdrawing from the tournament before February 28, 2010 shall receive a refund of 80% of the team fee. A team withdrawing from the tournament on or after April 1, 2010 shall forfeit the entire team fee.

Player/Guest fee and Accommodation & Food option
Each team is guaranteed a number of player accommodations equivalent in value to the number of Accommodation&Food options that were paid and credited to WUCC COC bank account till April 30, 2010. Teams that do not meet the deadlines for A&F option payment cannot be guaranteed their first choice accommodations at the tournament site, but will not be denied participation in the event provided that the Team fee is paid, as outlined in this document. In these circumstances the Team fee must still have been paid before the final deadlines as outlined above.

Teams that pay the Accommodation&Food option fees that are credited to WUCC COC bank account till April 30, 2010 are entitled to 10% discount on A&F option fee. The total payment of A&F is set according to the type of A&F option chosen by your players/guests (See section on Accommodation&Food). Regular price is applied to all payments of A&F option fees credited to WUCC COC bank account after May 1, 2010. Acoommodation&Food option fee closes on May 31, 2010. At this point, May 31, 2010, A&F option fees must be paid.

The Player fee applies to all players of WUCC2010 and consists of all player related costs like player's pack, transportation, WFDF participation fee, player's book, newsletters etc. Player fee closes on May 31, 2010 (See section on Rosters). At this point, May 31, 2010, fees equalling the intended final number of players in a team must be paid, including any late payment penalties. Individual players, or whole teams, may be excluded from the tournament if these payments are not made. The WUCC COC and WFDF may accept additional players to team rosters after this date up to two (2) weeks before the tournament, subject to a penalty payment.

The WUCC COC has the right to penalize any late payments at a rate of no more than 10% of the total player fee or A&F option fee for each month or part of a month that the fee for an individual player is late.

A team withdrawing from the tournament before April 30, 2010 shall receive a minimum of 50% refund of the total Player fees and A&F option fees paid by the team. The WUCC COC has the right to deduct up to 50% of the fees to cover any accommodation deposits or administrative charges incurred by a team or individual player.

A team withdrawing on or after May 1, 2010 shall forfeit the total Player entry fee and total A&F option payment.

An individual player withdrawing from the tournament (when their team remains registered) before April 30, 2010 shall receive a minimum of 50% refund of the Player fee and A&F option fee paid by the team. The WUCC COC has the right to deduct up to 50% of the fees to cover any accommodation deposits or administrative charges incurred by a team or individual player.

An individual player withdrawing from the tournament on or after May 1, 2010 shall receive a refund of 40% of the Player fee and A&F option paid.

An individual player withdrawing from the tournament on or after June 1, 2010 shall forfeit their player fee and A&F option fee.

The only exception is when an individual player has suffered an injury or medical condition and this is supported by a doctor's letter/medical report. In such cases an 80% refund of Player fee and 50% refund of A&F option will be made.

The same deadlines for payments, discounts and penalty payments do apply to all guests being registered together with a team.

If there are any guests that do not accompany a team and want to be registered separately please contact us individually at enjoy@wucc2010.com. Please note that the same fees and payment conditions do apply. If there is a possibility for such a guest to register with a team we would prefer you to do so as it would simplify the procedure for us and would have advantages for you such as saving on bank transfer costs and also we could arrange for you to have the accommodation together with that team if required.

Please note that the WUCC COC reserves the right to change the information and payment conditions contained in this section without prior notice. In case of important changes we will notify your team contact by email. Thank you.

Paying Arrangements

All payments of tournament costs must be sent by direct debit from your bank account to the WUCC2010 bank account (see details below). Please pay all fees by electronic transfer. Please make sure you pay ALL transfer and exchange costs WHILE sending the fees required. The payment is done correctly if the whole required amount is credited to the WUCC COC bank account specified below. If not, we would have to ask you to pay the charges again. We do not accept cheques, money orders, Eurocheques etc.. Using the electronic transfer will greatly speed up the registration process.

  • pay ALL bank charges (you/our bank) while sending the fees required (full amount must be credited)
  • please identify your payment with the six digit reference number you have received at registration on the WUCC2010 website (see Billing information at your registration section) and with the name of your team spelled exactly in the same way as you have registered it during the registration process.
